Discard all traditional standards. Leave them to the hypocrites. Only what liberates you from desire and fear and wrong ideas is good. As long as you worry about sin and virtue you will have no peace. Sin and virtue refer to the person only. Without a sinful or virtuous person what is sin or virtue? At the level of the absolute there are no persons; the ocean of pure awareness is neither virtuous nor sinful. Sin and virtue are invariably relative.

You are a storm that I chase around the sky
and when my bones stretch too far,
I spill my marrow in the shades of bruises you leave on skylines;
and I sit here, imagining the way I’d extend my fingers into the air
and keep you grounded… rooted;
but all I have is this blueprint of a body,
and the fact of it is,
that they never really tell you how to live a life
with bones that are a cluster of slow decay
and reek of incompetence,
and they don’t warn you that your mind
is in an infinite battle with your body
and is trying to set itself free,
that there are endless possibilities torn away from you
because of the flesh clinging onto your brittle bones.

You are not a person; you are a storm with skin.

"He is a storm with skin that lifts me off my feet, and into a different universe." by M.A.K // 8.7.14 (via mak-poetry)
